Hen parties seem to becoming more of a whole day or even weekend affair, which I think is fab and means you can have a wonderful celebration with your girlfriends, aunties and mum. There are lots of new ideas for ways to celebrate this day, or weekend, but one that I particuarly like is getting crafty. There are lots of options nationwide, allowing you to create jewellery, garters, lingere, cakes and many more besides. After a day of making and creating you and the other 'hens' can head off for champagne, cocktails and partying.
The Makery in Bath offers a variety of projects for a hen party including life drawing, lingere making, fascinator making and creating bath time treats. Each activity lasts around two hours and The Makery can provide afternoon tea or you are very welcome to bring along your own food and drink. Bath is a gorgeous city and I am sure you will find plenty of brillant restaurants and hotels to continue you hen party.
The Make Lounge is in London and offer bespoke and various party options, including designing & creating a fascinator, cupcake decorating, cake pop making or 'Fancy Pants' knicker customising. The Make Lounge have two venues seating 8 to 60 people and have platters, bowls, champagne flutes, wine glasses, cake stands and much more besides for you to bring along the fizz and nibbles. They also have an iPod docking station so you can play your favourite tunes whilst you are busy creating.
