Stationery - Bunny Delicious

I put together some inspiration for a London themed wedding or party in yesterdays post but I have a fab stationery designer to thank for sparking this idea. Zoe at  Bunny Delicious has designed and created some gorgeous themed stationery, including other city themes (don't worry I 'm already thinking New York and Paris for future posts!).

The designs are fun and these table names are infomative too, great talking point when people don't know everyone at their table.

I'm sure you will all agree this stationery from Bunny Delicious is a fabulous starting point to creating your London themed celebration.

Theme - London Calling

I have always had a soft spot for London, the hustle and bustle, culture and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Even though I live in the countryside a couple of hours from the capital, I try and return every so often.  London would make a fab theme for  a wedding or party, you could have famous street names, Oxford Street, Brick Lane, Carnaby Street, or landmarks, Buckingham Palace, Trafalger Square, Picaddily Circus, as table names. Perhaps have toy black cabs or red double decker buses as favours, hire a routemaster bus as transport for guests, you could even have a Big Ben cake, not that I have found one!

Segerius Bruce Photography show in a London Love Affair themed wedding how the London skyline, even in the rain, can add drama to your wedding photos.

You can even add London in to your jewellery

Tomorrow I will share with you a stationery designer who can create the perfect stationery and table plans for your London themed celebration.

Save The Date - A Bespoke Design

When a wedding stationery designer plans her own wedding you have to wonder what great designs they will create.  Emma at A Bespoke Design recently posted on her wedding blog how she designed and created her own Save The Dates and they are unique and gorgeous.

Emma says on her blog that she and her husband to be had  decided to create a concertina style album and wanted to enclose it in a leather style journal.

Using leather look card, suede effect cord and buttons that were found after many hours trawling the internet, they had created a vintage inspired Save The Date. to complete the look they used brown ink for an old handwriting style font.

After an engagement photoshoot for An Essex Wedding Magazine with Hayley Ruth, their photographer, the couple decided to share some of the images in the folders created in the concertina style cards.

I am sure you will agree these brown paper packages tied up with string are fabulous.

The excitment is mounting in our house as Halloween approaches. Costumes are being planned and created, spooky food ideas are being suggested and the treats are being brought. I love the spooky fun of Halloween and have put together some quick pick for you to hopefully inspire your own spooky fun!

Baby It's You

I never had a baby shower, not one, and I have had lots, well five, children! I think baby showers are still relatively small business in the UK but certainly in the US they are big business.  Just imagine a party all for you and that big bump, an afternoon of tea in vintage teacups and slices of delicious cakes or perhaps you prefer a more glamorous occassion, with non-alcholoic cocktails, maybe a little champagne, heavenely nibbles and the chance to dress up a bit.

Tomorrow I will bring you product inspiration for hosting your baby shower.
