The Loveliest Links

Another week has passed and it has been a busy week here on Inspired Celebration, sharing ideas for Christenings and Hen Parties and gorgeous gift ideas for new mums aswell.  With only three weeks until Father's Day be sure to order any bespoke or personalised gifts in the next couple of days to ensure you receive the gift in time. Stuck for ideas then take a look at the personalised gift guide I put together earlier this week, especially for Father's Day and don't worry we will be sharing more ideas over the coming weeks.
As it's Sunday it's time to share some of my favourite links from the week with you.

The regular readers amongst you will know how much I love printables for invitations and decorations and we all love free printables! So I am sure you will all love these fab printables from Like A Cup of Tea.

Wedding blogs have been awash with pretty pink inspriation boards this week.

Wedding Chicks - Pink Sweet Treats

Love My Dress - Darling Blush Pink

And I love this bright rainbow party over on The Tom Kat Studio blog.

I hope you have all had a fabulous weekend and please remember to share any celebrations with us here at Inspired Celebrations!

The Loveliest Links

Sunday has arrived again, although I awoke thinking it was Monday, so Sunday was a pleasant surprise! I have had a busy week as I am sure so many of you have.  There are have been some lovely posts in the blogosphere this week, so lets take a look at some of my favourites.

Earlier this week I put together some pretty afternoon tea party inspiration for a bridal shower and I also wanted to share this spring flowers bridal shower theme from Birds Party, which comes complete with  printables.

I believe we will see a rise in white bridesmaid dresses following Pippa Middleton's beautiful dress designed by Sarah Burton.  This week Gaby over at Cap Classique posted some beautiful ideas for white bridesmaid dresses.

Whilst weddings generally take months or even years to plan Lou over at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings wrote a great post this week about planning a last minute wedding.

And these are the words I live by.  Print available from Hello Monkey.

The Loveliest Links

It has been a busy week here on Inspired Celebration as I welcomed new team members, launched The Showcase and Bespoke Inspiration Boards, added courses & events to more of the new pages on the blog and shared fabulous lace inspiration.  Aswell as the fantastic nautical themed birthday party from Isa Maria and some gorgeous engagement gifts from Viv in the first of her weekly Gift Guides.

The wedding blogosphere is still buzzing with talk of the Royal Wedding and as wedding season hots up there is plenty of inspiration to help you find the perfect accessory or gift, cake or floral arrangement.  The thoughts of summer also also mean more parties in the garden, picnics on the beach and of course graduation celebrations for many.

My husband is busy finishing his dissertation having 'quit the day job' nearly three years ago to study for a B.A.(Hons.) in History, which is a brave and bold move but incredibly rewarding for him and the whole family.  So with thoughts of his imminent graduation I loved this colourful graduation party idea from Chris at Celebrations at Home this week.

Yesterday I posted a fab idea of a cupcake decoration stall at your wedding or party and these Pink Lemonade cupcakes from The White Library look delicious.  Be sure to look at the vintage hobnail patterned finds whilst you are in the library too.

Ian Stuart 'Seville' available from Rock My Wedding Un-Dress

With the recession still gripping the nation and people trying to be just a little bit greener I love the 'Un-Dress' section on Rock My Wedding, full of beautiful dresses that brides are choosing to sell so that they can be worn again.

This week saw Not On The High Street launch their Perfect Gift Guide and mine arrived yesterday in the post but you can also view the guide online. I was thrilled to see so many of the products we have featured on Inspired Celebration!

Today is Mother's Day in the US and Australia and I am sure many mummies are being incredibly spoilt with special lunches, brunches or dinners.  So I would like to wish you all a very Happy Mothers Day.

I hope you all have had a fabulous weekend.

The Loveliest Links

I fear I may have become obsessed with the Royal Wedding and I am sure I am not alone in this! Yesterday I spent some time pouring over the newspapers, soaking up every little detail of this truly beautiful occassion.

I know many of you held Street Parties in celebration of our new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and I would love for you to share some pics with me, that I can then share here on the blog.  Please email your party pics across this week to inspiredcelebrations{at}gmail{dot}com (just replace the words in the brackets with the symbols!!)

For todays loveliest links I am going to share just one link to The British Monarchy's Flickr page so that you can enjoy the magical day over again.

I hope you have all had a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend.

The Loveliest Links

Happy Easter to all of you, I hope the Easter bunny has been good to you!  My children have already filled their baskets with treats and loved the fact that we can now have a proper hunt as we have a much bigger garden after moving house last Autumn.  Sunday on Inspired Celebration is about sharing some of the links I have loved in the past week.  As the Royal Wedding is less than a week away I thought todays links should have a regal feel to them.

Of course I must start with the official Royal Wedding website.  Here you can keep up to date with everything happening in the lead up to and during this special day.

For beautiful cakes you must take a look at Fiona Cairns website, the official Royal Wedding cake designer.

I just love this wreath from Finnsparations.

Fantastic cupcake toppers from Hunkydory Home

And this kissing corgi's towel from Quietly Eccentric made me smile!!

Finally for some fab printables for your Royal Wedding party be sure to visit -

And I've heard there will be some great free printables available on Hostess With The Mostess later today.

There will be lots more Royal Wedding fun and frivolity here over the next few days, so I hope to see you here to raise a pinky and sip a lovely cup of tea!

Enjoy your Easter weekend.

The Loveliest Links

This week has tested my juggling skills as all of my children are off school for the Easter holidays and I know I am not alone in doing this juggling act of working from home and entertaining the children.  I adore spending time with my children and just taking life at a slower pace, it gives me time to think and enjoy the simple things that life offers.  I hope that you have all had a wonderful week too.

With only a week until Easter and less than two weeks until the Royal Wedding I will be continuing to fill the next weeks posts with fabulous finds and ideas to help you celebrate these fantastic occassions.  But for now I am going to share with you the loveliest links from my week.

Kelly at Boho Events always fills her posts with fabulous content, whether it's information for planning a wedding or ideas that have inspired a theme.  Earlier this week she wrote a great post for her Wedding Planner Wednesday post that is a must read for anybody planning their big day.

This week from Wed Luxe was a post filled with decadence and opulence you would expect from a Royal Wedding  that I just have to share with you.

Image from The White Library

Dessert tables are still a relatively new idea here in the UK but I absolutley loved this ice cream parlour dessert table idea from The White Library earlier this week.

Finally I loved this Beatrix Potter inspired Easter party on the Amy Atlas blog, that would also work really well for a baby shower or birthday party aswell.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The Loveliest Links

I cannot believe it is Sunday again and I hope you have all had a fabulous weekend in the gorgeous Spring sunshine.  We have been to the beach and sat and built sandcastles for the first time this year, which always makes me think Summer is really on it's way!

Today I have a list of fantastic links to help in your planning and celebrating that I have enjoyed in the past few days.

I keep coming back to this great list of Easter tutorials on Oh My! Handmade Goodness.

The postie delivered the latest copy of Country Living this weekend and has a great feature about weddings that I am yet to read properly but I was intrigued by Jukebox 45's who hire and sell jukeboxes for many occassions. What a cool idea!

This doughnut hole favour idea on Ruffled looks delicious.

Now I am off to enjoy some more Spring sunshine with my family. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend too.
